Orlox, a cybersecurity specialist within The Cronos Group, came to us feeling brand-blocked. They were great at integrating security solutions, but their branding didn't capture their innovative spirit. We stepped in to show them how a few smart design moves could unleash their brand's hidden potential. Let's just say things snowballed from there...
Orlox had the basics: logo, colour palette, and a basic version of their website in development. But something wasn't clicking. Their brand felt inconsistent, and they struggled to use it effectively to showcase their innovative, user-friendly security solutions. They needed a brand that worked as hard as they did, and we were itching to show them how to unlock the hidden power of what they already had.
We spotted serious untapped potential in Orlox’s brand. Solid foundation? Absolutely. But everything felt too similar, and there was a lot more in there. We knew we could inject some energy and create a dynamic, engaging brand without a massive, costly overhaul. Our mission: breathe new life into their brand and equip them with versatile assets for every platform and channel.
Our collaboration with Orlox started with a kick-off meeting to get to know them and understand their pain points. They were clearly passionate about their work, but felt their current branding wasn't doing them justice.
We got it. And after that first meeting, we really wanted to show them what their brand was capable of. They had all the right ingredients – logo, colours, the works – but it just wasn't clicking. We wanted to inspire them and create a kind of design system based on what was already there, proving they didn't need a total makeover to make a real impact.
So, our designer started experimenting, diving deep into Orlox's existing brand kit. She unearthed those underused secondary colours and explored how the logo's DNA could be reimagined in fresh ways, giving them tons of consistent elements to use.
It wasn't just about static visuals either. We wanted to make sure their brand felt forward-thinking as their cybersecurity solutions, all while keeping their core brand identity instantly recognisable, online and off.
Once Orlox started seeing the possibilities, we wanted to give them a taste of what this could look like in action. They mentioned an important upcoming presentation, so a pitch deck was the perfect opportunity to show them what their revamped brand could do.
Our lead designer, inspired by the brand potential we'd just explored, dove right in. By playing with cutouts and enlargements, she created a unique visual language for the slides that was totally on-brand but felt fresh and dynamic. Orlox were more than impressed with the results, and that simple slide deck makeover quickly grew into a much bigger project.
When Orlox saw what our designer achieved with their existing brand, they asked us to redesign and rewrite their website in cooperation with HEADR, the development partner. Since this was quite a large project, our designer and copywriter teamed up to rethink the site's structure, making it more user-friendly and clearer.
They started by completely overhauling the website's “skeleton”, rethinking its whole structure to make sure it was rock-solid. After that, they nailed down the content blocks and made sure the whole thing flowed like a dream. The new site matches the look and feel we developed, and it also has subtle movement and interactive elements to showcase Orlox's dynamic approach.

But we didn't stop at the website. We also armed Orlox with a full toolkit of templates: social media posts, email templates (internal and external), document templates... Both the website and templates used visual assets that were designed with consistency and ease of use in mind, so Orlox can maintain their brand presence across all touchpoints.
Orlox is now armed with a dynamic and professional brand identity that truly reflects who they are. They've gone from a brand that felt (in their own words) “stuck” to one that's ready to take on the world. Their website is now a powerful tool that tells their story and showcases their expertise. And the feedback? Let's just say it's been overwhelmingly positive, both inside and outside the Cronos Group.
